Dr. Corey Winn, PT, DPT
President
Founder
Dr. Corey Winn is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, advocate, and philanthropist deeply committed to transforming the lives of individuals living with spinal cord injuries and progressive neurological diseases. As the founder of The Carl Edward Foundation, she leads with both clinical expertise and personal passion—drawing inspiration from her late uncle, Carl Edward Carlson, whose resilience continues to shape her life’s work.
With over 15 years of experience in complex rehab technology evaluations, Dr. Winn continues to serve patients through specialized clinical work in wheelchair seating and mobility evaluations. She works on the front lines of patient care, fighting for access to equipment and resources that are often denied by insurance. She has witnessed firsthand how lack of funding for essential medical equipment, home modifications, and caregiver support can lead to devastating consequences—especially for patients with Parkinson’s disease, ALS, MS, spinal cord injuries, and other progressive conditions.
Dr. Winn established the foundation to close those gaps—providing hope, dignity, and freedom to individuals whose needs have long gone unmet. Her leadership is grounded in deep empathy, clinical insight, and a fierce commitment to equity in healthcare access.
In addition to her philanthropic work, Dr. Winn is an entrepreneur, speaker, podcast host, and business consultant who helps high-achieving women align wealth creation with their soul’s purpose. As a consultant with She Sells and Super Human Selling, she empowers women leaders to grow thriving businesses without burnout. She brings this same energy and vision to her nonprofit work—redefining what it means to lead with heart, service, and sustainability.
A proud wife and mother, Dr. Winn embodies a life of purpose, blending business, family, and impact to build a legacy that honors her past and creates a better future for others.
